Nittany Lions Host Michigan State for Senior Day; Fans Reminded of Changes in Hours; Security and Entry Process

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.-- The No. 8 Penn State football team concludes the regular season Saturday when it hosts Michigan State on Senior Day. The Nittany Lions and Spartans will clash for the Land Grant Trophy in Beaver Stadium and with a win, Penn State would clinch a share of the Big Ten Conference's East Division championship.

Playing their final home contest, Penn State's senior class will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony. The group has been instrumental in lifting the Nittany Lions into the nation's Top 10 this season and extending Penn State's streak of consecutive winning seasons to 12.

Saturday's contest will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network (2:00 p.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com. The Nittany Lions (9-2, 7-1) and Spartans will be meeting in the season finale for the third consecutive year and for the 21st time in the last 24 years.

Tickets for the Senior Day game are still available. To purchase tickets or for more information, fans can visit PSUnrivaled.com, call 1-800-NITTANY or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office. The Beaver Stadium ticket office will open Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and with Penn State classes not being held this week, fans should note some changes to a normal game week. The University is closed on Friday, Nov. 25, but the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office will be open that day from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

TICKETS AND PARKING FOR MICHIGAN STATE GAME

  • The overnight RV lot will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25. The overnight lot will not be open on Thanksgiving Day.
  • The Bryce Jordan Center ticket office will have normal hours Monday-Wednesday (10 a.m.-6 p.m.), be closed on Thanksgiving Day and open on Friday from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Fans can purchase advance car ($15) and RV ($60) parking permits at the Jordan Center ticket office until 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Parking permits bought at the stadium lots on game day are $40 (car) and $120 (RV), cash only.

STUDENTS TICKETS AND RESIDENCE HALL OPENING

  • Students who live on campus can return to their residence halls at 3 p.m. on Friday in order to attend Saturday's game.
  • Student Guest Ticketing at the Jordan Center will be open on Monday, Nov. 21 from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., be closed Tuesday-Thursday and have extended hours on Friday, Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m.

Fans are reminded that Penn State is providing security screening for all guests this season at entry gates using metal detection wands. With this security measure in place, all public gates, including the ADA and student gates, will open two hours prior to kickoff to provide ample time for all fans to pass through security.

Patrons will be asked to remove items from their pockets upon entering Beaver Stadium when the gates open at 1:30 p.m. (Gate C opening at 2 p.m.).

Stadium Parking Lots Open at 8 a.m.; Team Arrival at 1 p.m.
Parking lots will open Saturday at 8 a.m., the Beaver Stadium ticket office opens at 11:30 a.m., the team arrival is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Curtin Road and the stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m.

The Penn State Customer Relations Service Center (1-800-NITTANY) will be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. until one hour after the game. The two guest services booths on Park Avenue will open Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

Fans Reminded to Hold onto 2017 Blue-White Game Parking Permit
Season ticket holders are reminded that they received a parking permit for the 2017 Blue-White Game when they received their season tickets and parking and should put their Blue-White Game parking permit in a safe location. Parking permits for the April 22, 2017 Blue-White will not be replaced if lost.
