Nittany Lions in the NFL -- Week Nine

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - A total of 30 Penn State football alumni are populating the active rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually are among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.

In Week 9 of the NFL season, former Nittany Lions DaQuan Jones and Cameron Wake were disruptive on defense, while wide receivers Jordan Norwood and Allen Robinson both found the end zone. Jones made a career-high eight tackles for the Titans, including one sack, and Wake helped the Dolphins defeat the Jets with two sacks. Norwood caught his first touchdown pass since 2011, while one of Robinson's seven receptions on Sunday went for a touchdown. Linebacker U continued to be productive as well, with Paul Posluszny (Jaguars) and Gerald Hodges (49ers) posting double-digit tackles, and Nate Stupar (Saints) forcing and recovering a fumble.
