Penn State Fencing Competes in its Last Dual Match of the Season

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Lions will compete Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Temple Invitational in its last dual meet of the season in Philadelphia, Pa. at 9:30 a.m.

The fencing team will compete against St. Johns, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, and Stevens Institute (men's only).

Competing for the men:

Epee: Seniors Oskar Tang (Gothenburg, Sweden), Patrick August (Las Vegas, Nev.), Lars Swanson (Mendham, N.J.), junior Alfred Galeno (Queens, N.Y.), sophomores Joshua Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Anton Pskovatskov (Houston, Texas) and freshman Clinton Rodell ( Annadale, VA).

Saber: Juniors Jarrett Lewis (Montclair, N.J.), Andrew Mackiewicz (Westwood, Mass.), sophomores Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.), Matthew Lewicki (Oakland, N.J.) and Marcel Dolegiewicz (Park Ridge, Ill.)

Foil: Seniors Howie Chan (Walnut, Calif.), Nicolas Graziano (Brooklyn, N.Y.) sophomore Julian Fevry (St. Albans, N.Y.), freshmen Mohamed Hassan ( Saint Louis, MO) and Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.)

Competing for the women:

Saber: Senior Teodora Kakhiani (Tbilisi, Georgia), juniors Karen Chang (Hong Kong, China), Kathryn Charpin (Setauket, N.Y), sophomores Erin McLoughlin (San Jose, Costa Rica) and DeAna Oliver (Montclair, N.J.).

Foil: Senior Desree Ortega-Furgeson (Wyoming, Mich.), Freshmen Tyanna Fong (Ampang, Malaysia), Alissa Gozali (Singapore), Jade Rowland (Princeton Junction, N.J) and Stefania Tomich ( Chantilly, VA).
