NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP REPEATS
The Nittany Lions have three individuals returning to the NCAA Outdoor Championships after competing in the NCAA Indoor Championships this past March in College Station, Texas

Isaiah Harris qualifies for the outdoor championships following an indoor season that saw the sophomore grab All-America honors in the 800-meters finishing fourth in a time of 1:47.94. Harris has made three-straight finals at the NCAA Track & Field Championships dating back to last year's outdoor meet in Eugene.

Dannielle Gibson looks to improve during her second NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance after posting an eighth-place finish in the triple jump during the Indoor Championships this past March. Gibson recorded a mark of 45'-1.75" (13.76m) at the Big Ten Championships in happy Valley that stands as the No. 1 mark all-time under all-weather conditions in Penn State school history.

Tessa Barrett, who has qualified for every championship meet during her career (XC, ITF, OTF), looks to earn her third All-American finish as she wraps up her sophomore season. Barrett most recently received All-American honors for her fifth-place finish in the 5,000-meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

Danae Rivers enters her first NCAA Outdoor meet after making her championship debut this past march finishing third in the mile to earn her first All-American honors. Rivers enters the NCAA meet as the school record holder in the 800-meters with a best of 2:02.53.

The men's 4x400-meter relay returns after their history run during the indoor season that saw Dan Chisena, Xavier Smith, Samuel Reiser and Isaiah Harris run a school record time of 3:04.80. The outdoor squad saw freshman Tyreek Mathis replace Reiser on the third leg and included a No. 2 all-time performance in the event as the squad of Chisena, Smith, Mathis and Harris carry the baton to the tune of 3:03.48 at the NCAA East Firtst Round meet in Lexington, Ky.
