UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's soccer, men's soccer and field hockey teams are set to be featured in six BTN (Big Ten Network) Plus broadcasts this fall, as announced by the Big Ten Conference.
The defending women's soccer Big Ten Champions will be featured three times on BTN during the 2017 regular season. The Nittany Lions take on No. 6 North Carolina Thursday, Sept. 7 and No. 23 Northwestern Thursday, Sept. 14 at Jeffrey Field to kick off the BTN women's soccer slate. Penn State will meet up with the Wildcats for the first time since the 2015 season when it picked a 3-0 victory on the road.
The Blue and White closes out its Big Ten Network slate Thursday, Oct. 12 when it travels to No. 21 Rutgers Thursday, October 12.
Women' Soccer BTN Schedule
Sept. 7 vs. North Carolina, 7 p.m.
Sept. 14 vs. Northwestern, 7 p.m.
Oct. 12 at Rutgers, 7 p.m.
The Penn State field hockey team is slated to be featured on BTN two times in the 2017 campaign with its first match coming at Ohio State Friday, Oct. 6. The Nittany Lions will conclude their Big Ten Network schedule Sunday, Oct. 15 when it travels to Maryland for a 3 p.m. contest. In the 2016 campaign, the Blue and White captured the Big Ten Conference Tournament title with a 2-1 victory over the Terrapins in College Park, Maryland.
Field Hockey BTN Schedule
Oct. 6 at Ohio State, 3 p.m.
Oct. 15 at Maryland, 3 p.m.
Finally, the Penn State men's soccer team will be featured on the Big Ten Network when it travels to Ohio State Tuesday, Sept. 12 for a 7 p.m. contest. Last season, the NIttany Lions notched a 4-2 victory at home against the Buckeyes.

All 14 Big Ten schools will be featured during the BTN and ESPN fall sports schedule, while additional Big Ten games may be televised on BTN Plus (streaming through the BTN2Go platform) or ESPN3 (streaming through the WatchESPN platform).
