FNC: PSU Fencers go to Virginia Beach for NAC Event

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Select Penn State fencers will be heading to Virginia Beach, Va. for a four-day long NAC event. The tournament starts Friday, Jan. 5 and will conclude sometime in the afternoon on Monday, Jan. 8. The potential start time of the even could be altered due to the on-going snow event along the Atlantic Coast.

The men that are competing this weekend for the Nittany Lions are as follows: Anton Piskovatsov (Houston, Texas), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.), Mohamed Hassan (Saint Louis, Mo.), Andrew Mackiewicz (Westwood, Mass.), Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.)

The women that are competing this weekend for the Nittany Lions are as follows: Anastasia Kalonji (Rennes, France), Barbara VanBenthuysen (Spring, Texas), Yumin Wang (Monmouth Junction, N.J.), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.), Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.), Sara Cunningham (Decatur, Ga.)
