"Wisconsin knew this was a big match for ranking spots so they needed to step up," said associate head coach Paul Tobin. "We knew their doubles were strong at the top, a .750 record. We knew some of our guys are still a little beat up and the Wisconsin pace was too big. It looked like we could tie it up when Ben [Lieb] took the third set. Great job to Wisconsin for pulling out the set. It's time to regroup and focus on a good Minnesota team Sunday."

The Lions are now 11-8 (1-3 B1G) on the season. The team is back in action on Sunday, Apr. 1 against No. 33 Minnesota in Minneapolis, Mn. at 1:00 p.m. EST.
