UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.-- The Penn State women's tennis team will travel to take on the Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Gophers this weekend. The match against the Badgers will be in Madison, Wi. on Friday, Apr. 6 at 6:00 p.m. and the match against the Gophers will be in Minneapolis, Mn. on Sunday, Apr. 8 at 10:30 a.m.
Penn State (6-10, 1-4 B1G) is coming off of a weekend where the team hosted Michigan State and No. 24 Michigan. After falling to both of those teams, the Nittany Lions will be looking to bounce back this weekend.
Wisconsin (8-9, 2-3 B1G) last took the court against Michigan State, falling 6-1. The Badgers are 6-4 at home and will be hosting the Nittany Lions in the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Minnesota (11-8, 3-1 B1G) will play host to No. 30 Ohio State on Friday, Apr. 6 before the Nittany Lions take the court against them on Sunday. Minnesota is 10-2 at home and will be hosting the Lions in the Baseline Tennis Center.
"This weekend is an important weekend as we get into the heart of our Big Ten season," said head coach Chris Cagle. "The team has been playing well and creating opportunities within matches and now we need to finish off matches. I know the past experiences will help us and I expect us to play and compete at a high level this weekend."

Next up, the team will hit the road again, to take on Purdue on Friday, Apr. 13 at 3:00 p.m. and Indiana on Sunday, Apr. 15 at 11:00 a.m.
