Kremer, Robison Earn Summer All-Star Nods

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A pair of Penn State baseball student-athletes, Kris Kremer (Hershey, Pa.) and Curtis Robison (Dillsburg, Pa.) were named to their respective summer league all-star teams this week.

Robison was named to the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League's Blue Team, starting in right field Monday and going 1-for-3 with an RBI. He was also the runner-up in the league's home run derby Sunday. Robison is batting .386 with five home runs and 18 RBIs in 28 games played on the season to lead his West Hampton Aviators in all three categories, while his batting average ranks second in the league and his home run total is tied for third.

Kremer was named to the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League's South All-Star Team as a utility player. The game will be played Wednesday evening at Povich Field in Bethesda, Maryland. Kremer, playing for the Alexandria Aces, is batting .291 with 14 RBIs while ranking tied for fourth in the league with four home runs.
