Buy 2018 WVB Single Match Tickets
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Single match tickets are now on sale for the Penn State women's volleyball team's 2018 season.
Fans can purchase single match online here, by calling 1-800-NITTANY, or by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office in person Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $9 in advance, with costs rising to $11 at the door match days. Youth tickets cost $5 if purchased in advance. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for $4 each as well.
Rec Hall will be full of energy in 2018 as the Nittany Lions will host back-to-back home tournaments to open the season, hosting Navy, UMBC, Eastern Kentucky, Temple, and Texas A&M. The Big Ten home schedule is also highlighted with matches in Rec Hall against Nebraska, Minnesota, Purdue, and Wisconsin. The 2018 schedule can be found here.
In 2018, the Penn State volleyball team will host matches on the football weekends on four occasions. September 1, October 13, October 27, and November 24 will all play host to a double-dip day as fans will be able to attend both a Penn State football game and a Penn State volleyball match if they chose.
Fans should also be aware of a few of the big promotions this season. Opening weekend for the Penn State Invitational, the Nittany Lions will be hosting Back to School Weekend, with a few 'first day of class-worthy' giveaways.
On September 1, Penn State will be recognizing Head Coach Russ Rose for his 40th season leading the blue and white. There will be an ice cream social following the match with Texas A&M, and an iconic door giveaway before the match.
There will be something new in 2018, as Rec Hall will attempt is first "Stripe Out" on Saturday, October 13 against Nebraska. Fans will be given more details on what color to wear by section closer to the date of the match.
When Penn State hosts Indiana on October 26, the Nittany Lions will ask all fans to wear pink for their Dig Pink match in support of breast cancer awareness.
On November 17, the Nittany Lions will honor their 2018 senior class with Senior Night against Northwestern.
The final home match of the season falls on Saturday, November 24, and the Nittany Lions will ask all their fans to don white attire as we attempt to white out Rec Hall.
