  • Senior Chris Funkey has two career shutouts to his name and they have both come against ASU with one in each of the past two seasons.

  • Junior Brandon Biro registered a pair of one goal, one assist games against ASU last season while classmate Nate Sucese leads all current Nittany Lions with three goals and four assists for seven points against the Sun Devils.
  • Junior Denis Smirnov missed both games last season in Arizona, but registered a hat-trick in 2016-17 with four total goals and one assist for five points during a weekend sweep. Junior Liam Folkes has also had good success against Arizona State with one goal and four assists for five points.
  • Sophomore classmates Evan Barratt and Sam Sternschein along with senior Derian Hamilton each collected their first career goals against ASU last season in Glendale.

SCOUTING ARIZONA STATE
