UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – No. 39 Penn State men's tennis (5-3) will take on Buffalo (3-2) Saturday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. in the Indoor Tennis Center. This will mark the second of three straight home matches for the Nittany Lions.
Buffalo is a very well coached team that we have a tremendous amount of respect for," head coach Jeff Zinn said. "They have been in the NCAA tournament and they aren't scared of anyone. They are going to give us everything we can handle, hopefully we are up to the challenge."

LAST TIME OUT
In their last outing the Nittany Lions defeated William and Mary, 4-2, winning the doubles point and making a strong showing singles.
Constant De La Bassetiere (Reims, France) continued his hot streak with a win over Brenden Volk in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5. De La Bassetiere is now 5-1 at the No. 1 position, winning his last four matches.
The senior captain earned this first ITA singles ranking of the season at No. 92.
REIGNING IN THE BULLS
Buffalo defeated Quinnipiac in its most recent tilt with a shutout victory, 7-0. The highlight of the Bulls' season so far has been their season-opening win over Harvard, 4-3.
Leading the charge for the Bulls has been Vilhelm Fridell, who is 2-2 at the No. 1 spot and 1-0 at No. 2. Fridell is also part of the team's top doubles pair along with Simon Wibler. The pair is 2-3 on the year so far.
Penn State is 3-0 all-time against the Bulls. The two teams last met in the 2018 season when the Nittany Lions walked away with the shutout win, 7-0.
NEXT UP
The Blue and White will face No. 1 Ohio State next to open up Big Ten play. The match is slated for Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at the Indoor Tennis Center.
