“Club Climb” Opens for Season Ticket Holders in 2019-20

Opens in a new window 2019-20 Nittany Lion Basketball Season Tickets

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – "Club Climb," the pregame spot for socials for Penn State men's basketball season ticket holders, premieres for the 2019-20 season. Located near courtside, season ticket holders will have pregame access to the exclusive "Club Climb" to enjoy refreshments prior to the game.

"Offering free snacks and other items prior to tipoff for our student fans has been so successful over the past two seasons, it made perfect sense to reward our season ticket holders with their own pregame socials," said P.J. Mullen, Penn State Athletics marketing manager. "We have hosted a few exclusive events for our season ticket holders previously and they were received very well. We're excited to do more."

The designated area for "Club Climb" is on the event level in front of Section 126. Entry is limited to men's basketball season ticket holders where they can meet and socialize before games.

Season ticket holders who have renewed for 2019-20 or submitted the interest form for season tickets are eligible to win prizes on the upcoming July prize calendar, including a flat screen TV, opportunities to dine with members of the coaching staff, and hotel rooms for basketball weekends.

Benefits for season ticket holders also include complimentary parking, a value of $80, as well as single-game, special event and postseason ticket purchase priority.

All fans who have renewed their seats or who have committed to becoming a new season ticket holder will be invited to the late summer "Climb BBQ" event.

Additional details for both "Club Climb" and the "Climb BBQ" will be emailed directly to season ticket holders.

Fans who are interested in purchasing new season tickets for 2019-20 may contact the Athletics Ticket Office online at gopsusports.com/climbwithus or call 1-800-NITTANY weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The deadline to renew season tickets is June 28.

Penn State returns four starters from last year's squad, led by first-team All-Big Ten pick Lamar Stevens and 2018 Big Ten All-Defensive Team selection Mike Watkins. Coach Pat Chambers and the Nittany Lions defeated three top-20-ranked opponents and finished 2018-19 with seven wins in its final 10 regular-season games.

The full 2019-20 nonconference schedule will be released in July.
