Swimmers Set for Phillips 66 Nationals

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 15 current Penn State swimmers are slated to compete at the 2019 Phillips 66 National Championships Wednesday-Sunday at the Stanford Avery Aquatic Center in Stanford, California.
 
The group includes NCAA qualifiers Michael Daly (Pearl River, N.Y.) and Maddie Hart, who are slated to compete in four events each. Joining Daly on the men's side will be Hayden Harlow (Bentonville, Ark.), Will Roberson (Fulshear, Texas), Zac Zwijacz (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and Canadian Liam Veregin (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada), while Hart will be joined on the women's side by Carly Hart (Canton, Ohio) and Marie Schobel (Sea Girt, N.J.). An additional seven will compete exclusively in relays: men's swimmers Jacob Deckman (Mechanicsburg, Pa.), Eben Krigger (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Austin Wilson (Grove City, Pa.) and women's swimmers Elizabeth Gaspari (Reading, Pa.), Madison Ledwith (Chesterbrook, Pa.), Sadie Schumann (Durham, N.C.) and Kate Sheridan (Ridgewood, N.J.).
 
Aluma Ally McHugh, who placed sixth in the women's 400m IM at the World Championships Sunday, is also slated to compete.
 
The meet serves as an opportunity to post qualification times for the 2019-20 U.S. National Team and 2020 Olympic Trials set for June 21-28, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska.  
 
Preliminary heats and B-finals will be streamed on usaswimming.org. A-finals will be televised live on NBC Sports Network Wednesday-Friday and on the Olympic Channel Saturday and Sunday, and streamed live on nbcsports.com and the NBC Sports app.
