  • The Nittany Lions are now 16-9-1 in Friday regular-season games, including an 8-4 record in road Friday regular-season games.

  • Hamler became the 33rd Nittany Lion to reach 1,000 career receiving yards with a 58-yard touchdown catch on Penn State's second offensive drive.
  • Hamler ranks 28th on Penn State's career receiving yards list with 1,107 yards.

 
Journey Brown

  • RB Journey Brown had a 37-yard receiving touchdown in the second quarter, the longest reception of his career and the first receiving touchdown of his career.
  • Brown posted his first game with a rushing and receiving touchdown.
  • Brown also scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter, his third rushing touchdown of the season and the fourth of his career.
  • Brown's 41 receiving yards are a career high. His previous high was 31 yards against Idaho. He also tied a career high with two catches, matching his performance against Idaho.

 
Ricky Slade

  • RB Ricky Slade scored his second rushing touchdown of the season with a 3-yard run to cap off Penn State's 95-yard scoring drive on its third offensive possession.
  • Slade had a career-best three receptions. His previous high was two against Pittsburgh.

 
Devyn Ford

  • RB Devyn Ford had a 15-yard catch in the second quarter, the longest reception of his career, bettering a 9-yard reception against Pittsburgh.

  • CB Tariq Castro-Fields pulled in his second career interception at the goal line in the first quarter. His first career INT came against Georgia State in 2017.

 
Ellis Brooks

  • LB Ellis Brooks matched a career high with six tackles. He also had six tackles at Illinois in 2018.
  • Brooks recorded a career-best 2.5 sacks. Brooks' previous best was a half-sack against Illinois in 2018.
  • Brooks also had a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss. He had two previous games with a full tackle for loss with the last coming against Pittsburgh.

  • With 79 career extra points, Pinegar moved into 11th all-time in program history, passing Matt Bahr (74, 1976-78) and Nick Gancitano (76, 1981-84).
