UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State women's fencing team opened up action Saturday in Philadelphia at the Temple Open.

Leading the women's foil team was junior Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy) who took first and is Penn State's first champion of the weekend.
