The Nittany Lions are perennially a top-20 program in producing players in the NFL. Bye weeks and injuries contributed to a quieter than normal week in the NFL for former Penn Staters, with only half of the former Nittany Lions in action. Nonetheless, the Buccaneers' Chris Godwin moved into third place on the NFL's receiving yardage list and Mike Gesicki posted his sixth consecutive multi-catch game for the Dolphins.
