Coach Urgo and Daughter Samantha Read “Lamar’s Climb” Thursday Night

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's basketball associate head coach Keith Urgo and his daughter Samantha will read "Lamar's Climb: A Journey to Happy Valley" as bedtime story for Nittany Lion little ones on Facebook Live Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. ET on Facebook Live on the team's Facebook page.

"Lamar's Climb," authored by Nittany Lion senior forward Lamar Stevens, helps teach children about Pennsylvania geography. Samantha was one of the six individuals who colored the illustrations for the awesome book.

Urgo joined the Penn State men's basketball coaching staff with Coach Patrick Chambers in 2011 and has helped build the foundation for the program's success over the last nine seasons. He and his wife, Kristy, have four children, Ty, Cody, Samantha and Sydney Rae.
