UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's tennis senior Christian Lakoseljac (King City, Ontario, Canada) was named second team All-Big Ten, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
Lakoseljac becomes a three-time All-Big Ten honoree after earning first team honors as a junior in 2019 and second team accolades as a sophomore in 2018.
Lakoseljac played exclusively at No. 1 singles during the shortened spring 2020 season, finishing with a 4-2 record. The senior earned singles victories over opponents from Buffalo, St. Bonaventure, Liberty and Penn.
Lakoseljac wrapped up the spring season with an 8-2 doubles record, including a 7-2 mark at No. 1 doubles, while pairing with Christos Antonopoulos and Charl Morgan.
Lakoseljac, who holds career marks of 68-36 in singles and 50-37 in doubles, has announced that he plans to return to Penn State next season and use the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
