Men's Rugby at Kutztown 1pm Saturday

University Park, PA - This Saturday Penn State Men's Rugby head to Kutztown, PA to open Rugby East conference play at 1:00pm.

The last meeting of the two teams saw the Bears come out on top 34-24 over the Lions, breaking a four-game winning streak for the Nittany Lions. Penn State will travel with a good mix of experience and youth in the team for the weekend.

Captain Dalton Musselman sees a move to the centers for this weekend, with Stephen Hoey returning from a bit of time off. The front three remain the same from the pre-season with John O'Toole, Adam Bilbo and Noah Smith locking down a strong front row. Charlie Overton and Captain Campbell Halloran fill out the tight five. A mobile backrow of Caleb Smith, Aidan King and Nik Lundqvist will provide some pressure on the attack at breakdown time and some good ball in hand skills on attack.

In the backline, Ethan Russell continues his form at nine with Max Fish moving to outside center this week. Jesse Capriotti and Luke Kreider provide strong finishing ability out wide, and Michael Wein has been doing very well at fullback.

A potent finisher group in Nick Hosier, Jordan Kelley, Numa Pailhol, Lochie Treister and Nick Masterson up front and Giancarlo Nastasi, Tom Treussard and Travis Preston in backs will make for a very exciting match this weekend.
