UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State is ranked No. 7 in the Inside Lacrosse Preseason Division I Rankings, which were released on Tuesday.
The Lions hold a top-10 ranking in both major preseason national polls as they were listed No. 4 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Preseason Rankings released on Jan. 6.
Four of the six Big Ten teams are in the Inside Lacrosse rankings. Maryland came in at No. 2, while Ohio State is No. 12 and Johns Hopkins is No. 18.
The Lions are 21-4 overall and a perfect 5-0 in the Big Ten over the past two seasons. They won the most recent Big Ten regular season and Big Ten Tournament titles in 2019.
