Men's Lacrosse Adds 12 on Signing Day

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Head coach Jeff Tambroni announced 12 additions to the Penn State men's lacrosse team during Wednesday's National Signing Day. The group includes six players with a three-star or better rating by Inside Lacrosse and represents seven states and one Canadian province

Joining the Nittany Lions for the 2023 season will be Will Costin, Max Grube, Mac Hobbs, Jon King, Ty Kuprianchik, Matt Lazzaro, Mark McKeon, Ryan O'Connor, Alex Ross, Cam Sanderson, Luke Scarpello, and Ben Spinelli.

WILL COSTIN
Defense
Bryn Mawr, Pa./The Haverford School
 
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Rated a three-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse…Played varsity at Haverford School since eighth grade…Helped team to 43-14 record and three Inter-Ac runner-up finishes over final three seasons…Played nine years of club lacrosse with Mesa Fresh, which finished the recent season ranked No. 5 in the country according to US Club Lax.

Parents are Gui and Susan Costin…Has one older brother, Mac, who is a current member of the Penn State men's lacrosse team, and one older sister, Cate, who is on the squash team at Franklin & Marshall…Father, Gui, played golf at Virginia…Cousin, Sean Dolan, played hockey at Wisconsin…Hobbies include lawn games, woodworking, and hanging out with family…Intends to major in business.

Led Hempfield High School to 34-9-1 record, two L-L titles, two section titles, and a district runner-up finish over two seasons…Totaled 145 points on 100 goals and 45 assists during those two seasons…Played club with Team Lacrosse for three years and FCA for one year…Named a top 50 player by Peace Lacrosse, a 2020 Trilogy All-Star, and a 2020 Baltimore Summer Kickoff Standout.
