Nittany Lions to Travel to Philadelphia for Temple Dual Series

University Park, Pa. - The Penn State men's and women's fencing team will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. this Sunday to take on Temple University, St. John's University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Competing for the men this weekend will be:

Epee - Mitchel Bekker (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Jonathan Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas), Daniel Shifron (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and Devin Tafoya (Highlands Ranch, Colo.)

Foil - Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Arwen Borowiak (Tauberbischofsheim, Germany), Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Aidan Johnson (Oceanport, N.J.), Donavyn Martinez (Fresno, Calif.), Konner Paik (Norwood, N.J.), and Nicholas Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Saber - Jeffrey Basalyga (Saddle River, N.J.), Fernando Chacon (La Paz, Bolivia), Ethan Mullenix (San Francisco, Calif.), Clement Perrier (Allauch, France), Kamar Skeete (Duluth, Ga.), and Nicholaus Zielinski (Prospect Heights, Ill.)
 

Competing for the women this weekend will be:

Epee - Kateryna Chorniy (Kyiv, Ukraine), Sabine Desamours (Warrenton, Va.), Nirali Igoe (Washington, D.C.), Jaclyn Khrol (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Evelyn Pham (Houston, Texas), and Axelle Wasiak (Vlaams-Braban, Belgium)

Foil - Samantha Catantan (Quezon City, Philippines), Claire Haas (Port Matilda, Pa.),  Ximena Iriarte-Estrada (Huixquilucan, Mexico), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Arianna Proietti (Como, Italy), Ariel Rastep (San Francisco, Calif.), and Mikaela Yhip (Chico, Calif.)

Saber - Pauline Conscience (Paris, France), Steph Jen (Taichung,Taiwan), and Ola Strzalkowski (Littleton, Colo.)

Following this meet, the team will head to the 2022 NCAA Mid-Atlantic / South Regionals on March 12.
