MATCH NOTES AND INFORMATION
- With a win, Penn State would secure its 35th EIVA regular season conference championship title as a program and second regular-season conference title in a row. The 2022 EIVA regular season champions will be the host for the 2022 EIVA Tournament April 20-23, featuring six teams. The top two seeds will have a bye to the semifinals.
- Penn State has achieved a 12-0 record in EIVA play for the first time since 2015 when they finished the conference schedule with that mark. That was also the last time the Nittany Lions finished the conference schedule unbeaten. Penn State's highest win total with an unbeaten record in conference play is 14 wins (14-0), which has been done three times, last in 2012.
- PSU's record over the last two seasons is now a combined 41-7. The 41 wins is the most in the nation over that span and the Nittany Lions' .854 winning percentage is second best in the nation behind Hawaii's .897 (35- 4).
- The Nittany Lions' all-time record against the Red Flash is 49-3. Penn State has won their last nine meetings against Saint Francis. The teams last played Feb. 19, 2022 at Rec Hall. Penn State came out with the 3-0 victory thanks to a combined 23 kills from Brett Wildman and Cal Fisher.
- Senior libero Will Bantle became the 10th Nittany Lion to reach the 600 career digs milestone last weekend.
- Toby Ezeonu ranks second in the nation with a .530 hitting percentage among hitters with at least 3.25 attacks per set. Ezeonu has 70 kills with a .598 hitting percentage in his last eight matches.
