University Park, PA – The Penn State Men's Rugby team will open Rugby East Conference play this weekend at Queens University in Charlotte, NC. The match will be played at 10am Saturday, 10 September.
After a few tough weeks of pre-season and the start of classes the team are looking forward to their first match of the season. The match-up is a replay of the 2021 NCR Fall Championship semi-final where the Lions edged the Royals 32-31 in a thrilling encounter.
Training for the Nittany Lions has been tough with a number of players putting their hands up for selection going into the 2022 season. The team will again be captained by Seniors Dalton Musselman and Campbell Halloran and will be a great mix of returning talent and new additions.
