LIVERPOOL, Eng.- Penn State men's gymnastics' very own 2020 graduate, Stephen Nedoroscik, is competing at the World Gymnastics Championships hosted in Liverpool, England from Oct. 29 to Nov. 6. Nedoroscik completed his routine on pommel horse in the qualifies this morning (Oct. 31) and finished with a score of 15.233. His score tied with Rhys McClenaghan of Ireland and advanced him to the finals.
He is the first event specialist to make the team as well as to compete in the World Championships for the United States.
Nedoroscik will compete in the apparatus finals on Saturday, Nov. 5 on pommel horse. He will be competing for the title of World Pommel Horse Champion as well as the chance to represent Team USA at the 2024 Olympics.
Nedoroscik previously competed in the 2021 World Championships and clinched the title of World Champion on pommel horse with a score of 15.266.
