Softball Signs Transfer Morgan Farrah

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State softball head coach Clarisa Crowell announced the addition of graduate transfer, Morgan Farrah, to the program on Monday.
 
"We are very excited to welcome Morgan Farrah to our Penn State Family, and I know that she will be a great fit for our program," said Crowell. "Morgan had a successful playing career at Colgate University, and we believe she is going to help our team both offensively and defensively.
 
Farrah is a 5'6 utility player hailing from Munhall, Pa. She played four seasons at Colgate where she started 150 of 152 games as a Raider.
 
In 2021, Farrah collected NFCA All-Northeast Region Third Team and All-Patriot League Second Team honors. That same season she started all 32 games and led her squad with 36 hits, seven home runs and 26 RBI.
 
In her career so far, Farrah has accumulated 136 hits, 22 home runs, 81 RBI and holds a .499 slugging percentage.
 
While at Colgate, Farrah achieved a spot on the Raider Academic Honor Roll all four years and proved to be a leader amongst her peers.
 
From 2021-22, she served as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President. In 2021, Farrah received the Athletic Director Leadership Convocation Award, and in 2022, she was lauded with the Athletic Director Leadership Award.
 
Coach Crowell concluded, "Morgan is a very good player, but most importantly, she is a great person and teammate, and we are excited for her arrival this fall, We Are!"
