UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women's volleyball picked up a pair of weekly awards from the Big Ten on Monday. Kashauna Williams was named the Co-Player of the Week, while Allie Holland was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week.
Williams and Holland earned the awards after helping Penn State post five-set wins over then-No. 11 Stanford and then-No. 18 Oregon on back-to-back nights at the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge. The event was held at Minnesota's Maturi Pavilion.
Williams averaged 3.65 points, 3.20 kills, and 0.70 blocks per set over the two wins. She totaled 16 kills in both matches and added five blocks and hit .361 in the win over Stanford.
