UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Due to inclement weather forecasted in Central Pennsylvania on Friday, Penn State softball's series against the Illinois Fighting Illini will feature a modified schedule.
Penn State will compete in a doubleheader with Illinois on Saturday, April 29, with first pitch at Beard Field slated for 2 p.m. in game one followed by an approximate 4:30 p.m. start in game two. Sunday's weekend finale is still expected to proceed as previously scheduled with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. All three games will be streamed live worldwide via B1G+. A table with updated game information is listed below.
As previously announced, Penn State's senior day celebration will proceed as scheduled on Saturday. The ceremony is slated to begin pregame at approximately 1:40 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to join in the celebration.
