Big Ten Indoor Championships on the Horizon for Track & Field

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State track and field team is set for competition at this weekend's Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships. The two-day meet, set to take place Feb. 23-24, will be hosted by SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio.

Penn State enters competition with both its men's and women's squads ranked third in the Big Ten by the USTFCCCA TFRI. The Nittany Lions' 38 top-eight marks in the Big Ten showcase Penn State's excellent scoring outlook at the Big Ten meet. The Nittany Lion women finished sixth in the conference last season while the men placed seventh. Returning the majority of its talent from last season, Penn State aims to improve both of those final standings at this year's conference meet.

The Nittany Lions have set five school records and have achieved multiple top-five program marks during their 2024 indoor campaign, with tough competition at the conference and national level still remaining on the schedule.
