UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse attackman TJ Malone was named by USA Lacrosse Magazine as their Division I Player of the Week as announced on Tuesday. This is his first player of the week honor by USA Lacrosse for Malone this season.
Malone tallied a career-high nine points in Penn State's 15-14 overtime comeback victory against No. 9/10 Yale on Saturday. He scored a total of four goals in just the second half which propelled the Nittany Lions to the overtime win.
Malone now leads the Nittany Lions this season in points with 25 and assists with 15.
Penn State returns to action when they host No. 8/9 Cornell on Saturday, March 9 at noon.
