Parnham and Fracyon to Wear No. 16 and No. 11 Jersey's in 2025

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse student-athletes Kevin Parnham and Jack Fracyon will have the honor of wearing number 16 and 11 for the 2025 season.

Parnham will wear the number 16 jersey for a first season. Since 2016, the jersey has been awarded to a senior who best represents the "Heart of a Competitor" in honor of the "Teammate for Life" Connor Darcey. Connor passed away tragically on June 12, 2015, in a car accident, prior to his redshirt junior season.

The number 16 is passed down by the student-athlete who had the honor of wearing the number 16 during the previous season which was Grant Haus.

Parnham has played in a total of 32 games in his three years as a Nittany Lion. He has scooped a total of 68 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers in the defensive position. In 2023, he was named to the Big Ten's Distinguished Scholar list and was named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team. In the first round of the Big Ten tournament against Rutgers this season, he forced two turnovers and scooped three ground balls which helped lead to the team advancing to the Big Ten Tournament championship game.

Fracyon will wear the number 11 jersey for the first time in his career. The number 11 is presented to a young man who has persevered in the face of adversity. The number 11 jersey, worn by Michael Jacober from 2002-05, has become symbolic of the strength and compassion of the 2005 Penn State lacrosse team who rallied around Michael after his family was tragically killed in a plane crash during his senior season.

The Annapolis, Md. native was named an Inside Lacrosse, and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American after being named the Big Ten's Specialist of the Year for a second straight year. Fracyon had a strong third season as he was also a First Team All-Big Ten pick. He led the Big Ten in save percentage in the regular season at .589.

He also led the Big Ten is saves per game stopping 13.88 shots per game. He was named Big Ten Specialist of the Week twice this season as well as USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Player of the Week on two occasions. He recorded a career-high 19 saves against Michigan on April 13 and has held opponents to under 10 goals in 11 games this season. He started in every game this season recording a record of 11-5 which is tied for a career-high in wins in a season.
