UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Big Ten Conference released the conference matchup schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday afternoon with 18 B1G regular season contests slated for the upcoming year.
Home Matchups: Indiana (Dec. 7); Iowa (Jan. 1); Oregon (Jan. 9); Ohio State (Jan. 19); Rutgers (Jan. 26); Maryland (Jan. 29); Washington (Feb. 5); Wisconsin (Feb. 16); Purdue (Feb. 27)
The Lady Lions open Big Ten play at home against Indiana to kick off their conference slate for the season, followed by a near month long break from home B1G play. This will be the first time in three years PSU will open conference play at home.
Penn State will play host to Iowa to welcome the New Year for a Jan. 1 contest. The first game for the Blue and White taking on an opponent from the new Big Ten era comes on Jan. 9 with a Thursday matchup against Oregon. After a week-long road stint, the Lady Lions return to the Bryce Jordan Center to take on Ohio State. A single road game is followed by three consecutive home games for the Lady Lions, taking on Rutgers on Jan. 26, Maryland on Jan. 29 and Washington on Feb. 5. Penn State will round out regular season conference play in Happy Valley with Wisconsin on Feb. 16 and Purdue on Feb. 27.

Penn State begin its Big Ten road slate at Minnesota followed by a game at Nebraska just aa few days later. The Lady Lions travel to the west coast for a pair of conference contests for the first time, taking on USC and UCLA consecutively. After a trip to East Lansing, Michigan to take on Michigan State, the Blue and White remain home for a trio of games before hitting the road for back-to-back away games against Northwestern and Illinois. A game in Ann Arbor, Michigan is proceeded with a game in Piscataway to close out regular season conference play.

The 61st season of Lady Lions basketball starts November 7 versus Bucknell.
