Crespo secures his first career weekly accolade after registering a third-period hat-trick, the 19th in program history and just the second-ever by a Nittany Lion defenseman, in a 7-3 victory over RIT on Sunday evening. The hat-trick is the fourth of the season for Penn State marking the most in a single-season in program history.

Crespo’s first goal held on to be the game-winner while his three goals and three points were both career-bests. He registered his second multi-point effort of the season and the fifth of his career following his first career multi-goal game.

Crespo’s 11 career goals are now tied with Simon Mack ’25 for seventh on the all-time goal scoring list for Penn State blueliners. Crespo has four goals and three assists for seven points this season just three behind his career-high total while tying the number of points he had in 36 games a season ago. Crespo’s four goals this season are a career-high.

Cerrato secures his second weekly award of the season after a three-point effort against RIT with one goal and a pair of assists collecting his team-high seventh multi-point game of the season and the 22nd of his career.

Following his three-point outing, Cerrato is now fourth in the Big Ten with 24 points, tied for 14th nationally, while his 18 assists are tied for second in the conference and sixth in the nation.

Fink earns his first weekly award of the season and the sixth of his career after missing the last seven-plus games with an upper body injury. He opened the scoring in a 7-3 victory over RIT on Sunday with his third goal of the season before adding the primary assist on Crespo’s third goal to secure his third multi-point game of the season and the 27th of his career.

Fink now has 41 career goals pulling even with Brandon Biro ’20 for 10th on the Penn State all-time goal list while he is now just two points shy of becoming the ninth member of the Nittany Lion 100-point club.

Fink was also recently named to the Spengler Cup All-Star Team after pacing the tournament in each offensive category with four goals and four assists for eight points leading the U.S. Collegiate Selects to a runner-up finish.
