SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior alternate captain Nicole Hall scored twice, while sophomore goaltender Maddy Campbell stopped all 30 shots she faced to lead the Penn State women's ice hockey team to a 4-0 shutout victory over Syracuse on Saturday afternoon at Tennity Ice Pavilion.
Hall opened the scoring for Penn State midway through the first period off assists from junior co-captain Taya MacDonald and first-year Megan Hosman. First-year Sofia Ismael doubled the Nittany Lions' lead just 30 seconds into the second period off a feed from sophomore Danica Maynard. Hall added her second goal of the afternoon early in the third period with an assist from junior Alanna Devlin, while sophomore Mikah Keller capped the scoring off an assist from sophomore Sophie Morrow to secure the 4-0 victory.

- Campbell made eight saves during Penn State's stretch of penalty kills, accounting for more than half of her 15 second-period stops to keep Syracuse off the board.
