PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Ismael spent three seasons with the Etobicoke Jr. Dolphins U22 team, appearing in 125 games while totaling 71 goals and 100 assists for 171 points. She served as an assistant captain during the 2025-26 season. While attending Victus Academy, Ismael was named the school's Hockey Player of the Year. Ismael also competed for Crestwood Preparatory College, helping the program capture the 2023 championship while earning Women's Hockey Player of the Year and MVP honors. In addition to hockey, she competed in basketball and soccer, earning MVP honors in both sports.
International Experience
Ismael represented Team Canada at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in both 2025 and 2026. In 2026, Ismael earned a silver medal while recording seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in six games. In 2025, she helped Team Canada capture the gold medal, appearing in all six games while tallying two goals and two assists.
PERSONAL
Parents are Mahmoud Ismael and Oriana Dobruna...has three brothers, Mohamed (40), Omar (22), and Seif (21), and two sisters, Sara (39) and Salma (39)...enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and riding dirt bikes outside the rink...intends to major in psychology...following graduation, she hopes to pursue a professional hockey career and a career as a criminal psychologist.
