PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Prior to Penn State, Hosman competed for Loomis Chaffee School and the Mid-Fairfield Stars for four seasons. She recorded 29 points in 28 games while serving as team captain during her senior season at Loomis Chaffee. Hosman was named the New England Hockey Journal Defender of the Year in back-to-back seasons, earned consecutive All-NEPSAC honors and received the Barbara Erickson Senior Athletic Achievement Award. She helped lead Loomis Chaffee to consecutive NEPSAC Elite Eight championships in 2025 and 2026. Hosman also won a USA Hockey National Championship with the Mid-Fairfield Stars in 2023. She was invited to the USA Hockey 16/17 Player Development Camp in 2025 and attended the USA Hockey U18 Development Camp in 2023 and 2024.
Hosman also earned varsity letters in field hockey and softball and received 2025 field hockey All-NEPSAC honors. She was named to the honor roll as a junior and the high honor roll as a senior. Hosman served as president of the Athletics Association and as a student guide.
PERSONAL
Parents are Marcus and Melissa Hosman...father, Marcus, played football for four years at Carthage College, while mother, Melissa, competed in track for four years in addition to playing basketball and volleyball for two years...has one sister, Emily (17)...enjoys running, reading, and spending time outdoors away from the rink...currently enrolled in the Division of Undergraduate Studies...following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career as a sports psychologist...
