The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Softball Bootcamp, September 6
Grades 9-12

The Penn State Softball Bootcamp is designed to showcase what it takes to compete at the highest level. Campers will experience a typical Penn State practice, featuring hands-on instruction in pitching, offense, and defense. Come learn from our Penn State coaches to train like a Nittany Lion! Campers will have an opportunity to be challenged in a competitive environment and gain valuable insight into the Penn State program's culture, training methods, and commitment to excellence.

Fee: $150 (includes instruction, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Meals: NOT provided. Bring your own snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Water will be provided. 

Where: Beard Field is located on the corner of University Drive and Park Avenue.

When: 

September 6 -- 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Accommodations
Participants are responsible for their own housing arrangements. A list of hotels, as well as additional information and maps, can be found HERE.

What to Bring for Camp
Participants should bring softball gear including gloves, turf/tennis shoes, cleats, bat(s), helmet, “fielding” face mask and water bottle. Catchers should bring all gear including shin guards, chest protector and masks. Water will be provided. Bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
