Softball Training Camp, October 6
Grades 9-12
The Penn State Softball Training Camp is designed for players to experience a day in the life of a Penn State Softball student athlete. Players will have an opportunity to demonstrate their talents under the direct supervision and evaluation of the Penn State coaching staff. Each player will learn the same skills and techniques that the Penn State softball players use to develop their game. Emphasis will be placed on defensive skill instruction for all positions (pitching and catching included) and offensive skill instruction in a fun and competitive environment. In addition, players will partake in meeting sessions in which topics such as sport performance and mindset training will be discussed. A tour of our state-of-the-art facilities will also be included. The camp runs from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
While the camp is open to any and all entrants, those enrolling are highly encouraged to have premier/national level travel ball experience.
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Fee: $250/day camper (includes instruction, lunch, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING
Meal: Lunch will be provided. Bring your own snacks to stay energized and your own water bottle to refill during camp. Water will be provided.
