Rand Allison

Hired in 2004 to head up the IT department as the Manager of Network and Information Systems for Penn State Athletics.
Rand is responsible for overseeing all computer and network related needs for coaches, administrators, staff, and facilities. He is also involved in large scale deployment of cellular and wireless services in some of our facilities such as Beaver Stadium, Pegula, Rec Hall, etc.Prior to joining Penn State, he worked for 10 years in the cable television industry at the Tele-Media Corporation.
Rand is a graduate of State College High School and graduated from Penn State with computer science degree in 1985. He was a gymnast for State College High School and coached gymnastics throughout college and several years after.
He lives with his wife, Fredina Ingold, a retired Penn State Altoona Athletic Director, and has one daughter, Taylor
