vs. Monmouth (2/15-17): Went 5-for-12 (.416) for the weekend and 4-for-8 with three RBIs and two runs in the final two games. vs. No. 21 Duke (3/1-3): Went 4-for-8 in final two games of the series, scoring twice and driving in a run in an 8-7 win in the second game and doubling, tripling and driving in a run in the second game...Started streak of four games with a hit and RBI. at UCF (3/8-10): Went 3-for-5 with a run, RBI and stolen base in series opener...Drove in a run in the second game. at Pitt (3/12): Walked and scored. UMass Lowell (3/15-17): Went 3-for-8 with a double and run scored in the first two games. Awards: Named to the All-Big Ten Freshman team.
Season: Batted .283 and ranked third on the team with 23 RBIs...Appeared in 35 games with 30 starts combined at designated hitter (17), first base (6), left field (5) and third base...Started career going 5-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in first five plate appearances...Went on an eight-game hitting streak from 4/14 (Ohio State, G2) to 4/28 (Northwestern), batting .533 (16-for-30) with 13 RBIs and three doubles, as well as 11 walks for a .632 on-base percentage.
