AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18: Dolegiewicz continued his success in his third year at Penn State. Finishing with a 20-18 record, which included two 3-0 victories, Dolegiewicz placed sixth in the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals and qualified for the NCAA Championship.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17: Dolgiewicz had a good second season as a Nittany Lion. Dolegiewicz recorded two 3-0 victories as well as losing only five duels in his 28-17 season. He took 5th at the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals and qualified for the NCAA championships.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16: Dolegiewicz had a stellar first season as a Nittany Lion. Dolegiewicz lost only three duels and ended the season with a 22-9 record.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: A native of Park Ridge, Ill., Marcel is competing in his freshman season with the Nittany Lions and is looking to win the NCAA Championship this year. Dolegiewicz has previously fenced for the Midwest Fencing Club, near Chicago, Ill. under Head Coach Ian Farr. Dolegiewicz is currently undecided in his major, but plans to pursue a degree in business.
