Lion Career
2007:Named second team NFHCA All-Mideast Region....Also named to the Academic All-Big Ten team and the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the third straight year....Appeared in every game in her career....Started every game on the year for the first time in her career....Was one of the hottest players in the country in the postseason as she scored five goals in Penn State[apos]s six postseason games and scored in four of six games....Scored goals in four straight games in Penn State[apos]s two Big Ten Tournament games and the first two games of the NCAA Tournament....Was one of two fourth-year juniors on the team....Led the team in points (30) and goals (14)....Set a new career high for goals in just the seventh game of the year, easily surpassing her previous career high for four goals in each of the past two seasons and more than doubled her career goal total...Finished tied for sixth in the Big Ten in points (30) and ninth in points per game (1.25).... Game-by-Game: Scored her first goal of the year at Old Dominion (8-25)....Followed the up with her second goal of the year the next day at Virginia (8-26), scoring it just 1:12 after Kiersten Wood scored the go-ahead and eventual game-winning goal, the shortest time span in-between two goals this year for the Nittany Lions....Recorded her first career multi-goal game vs. Princeton by scoring the second goal and eventual difference in the game as well as the third goal in a 5-1 win over Princeton (9-5)....Got her second multi-goal game of her career and the year with another two-goal performance vs. West Chester (9-14), scoring both of her goals on just two shots....Scored a goal vs. Lock Haven that was the eventual difference in the game and was the fourth straight goal scored of the game to complete a comeback from a two-goal deficit in a 4-3 win over the Lady Eagles (9-26)....Recorded her first assist of the year by helping out on Shaun Banta[apos]s game-winning goal vs. Northwestern (9-30)....Scored a goal that was the eventual difference in the game vs. Syracuse (10-3)....Netted a goal in the 2-0 win at Indiana (10-7)....Assisted on the second of Bethany Marvel[apos]s three goals in Marvel[apos]s hat trick at Bucknell (10-23).....Recorded her third multiple-goal game of the season by scoring two goals vs. Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament (11-1), including the game-winner, on her only two shots of the game....Also scored a goal vs. Michigan (11-2) in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal....After Penn State trailed 1-0 at the half, scoring the game-tying goal just under six minutes into the second half in the first round win over Virginia (11-10)....Scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win over Maryland in the NCAA second round (11-11).
2006: Appeared in all 22 games, making 12 starts while alternating with Natalie Blasco in making starts and coming off the bench at both the forward and midfield positions....Scored four goals, which included two game-winners, and recorded two assists....Ranked in a tie for sixth on the team in goals and points (11)....Put 14 of her 19 shots on goal for nearly a 74 percent shot on goal rate....Half of her goals on the year came in the two games against North Carolina....Team went 5-1 in games that she recorded a point in....Named Academic All-Big Ten and also named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
Game-by-Game: Scored goals in back-to-back games vs. Ohio (8-28) and at Lock Haven (8-31) and had the team lead in goals and points after three games....Her goal vs. Lock Haven was the game-winner....Her goal against Ohio came 55:31 into the game, the longest Penn State went into a game without scoring on the year, excluding the two shutouts....Assisted on Allison Scola[apos]s first goal of the game, the eventual game-winner, in the win over West Chester (9-17)....Took a season-high four shots vs. Michigan State (9-23)....Also took two shots in five different games....Scored the game-winning goal in Penn State[apos]s 2-1 upset win over North Carolina (10-13) after Penn State had fallen behind 1-0. She took a pass from Shaun Banta and one-timed a wicked shot into the cage for her second game-winner of the year....Assisted on Kiersten Wood[apos]s goal against Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament (11-3)....Scored the game-tying goal in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against North Carolina (11-11), her first goal since her game-winner vs. UNC in the regular season game, and then just over seven minutes later, assisted on Natalie Blasco[apos]s game-winning goal.
2005: Saw action in all 21 games....Started one contest....Scored first career goal vs. Connecticut (9-4)....Tallied one goal against Saint Joseph[apos]s (9-11)....Scored once at Lafayette (9/16)....Notched one goal against West Chester (9-18)....Recorded one assist at Michigan (10-2)....Tallied an assist vs. Michigan State (10-15).
2004: Redshirt Year.

Led team to a sectional championship and a district qualifier in 2002....Earned four varsity letters while receiving team MVP honors in 2002 and 2003....Was team captain senior year...first team all-state in 2002-03...four-year Lancaster/Lebanon League All-Star....Gold medal in indoor nationals in 2003 and 2004....Earned gold medal in National Futures Tournament in 2002....Earned a silver medal in the Junior Olympics in 2002....Was a National Future Elite honoree from 2002-04....Nominated for High School Heisman Award.....Also played basketball, track and soccer in high school....Achieved honor roll all four years in high school....Earned the strength training award and most outstanding senior female athlete.
