The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Online registration ends 2 days prior to the first day of camp, unless the camp is full.

Field Hockey Academy, June 9 
Grades 6-12
Penn State's Field Hockey Academy is intended to provide high quality instruction and competition. The Academy will focus on innovative stick work and shooting sessions, defensive strategies, and skills as well as competitive, small game situations. Participants receive top instruction from the Penn State coaching staff and players.

Enjoy a fun day packed with information and skills to help you take your game to the next level!

Goalie Instruction
Specialized goalkeeping instruction will be provided during the camp.

Fee: $225 (includes instruction, lunch, camp shirt, no housing)

***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Meal: Lunch provided. Please notify us of any food allergies. Bring snacks to energize yourself and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade and water will be provided.

The Field Hockey Complex is located next to the Pegula Ice Arena off University Drive And Curtain Road.
 


Field Hockey Prospect CampJune 24-25
Grades 6-12

Penn State's Field Hockey Prospect Camp is intended to provide high quality instruction and competition. This competitive camp is specifically designed for players who are serious about raising their skills in preparation for playing field hockey at a high level. The camp will focus on innovative stick work and shooting sessions, defensive strategies, and skills as well as competitive, small game situations. 

Goalie Instruction
Specialized goalkeeping instruction will be provided during the camp.

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Fees:
$475 resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$445 day camper (includes instruction, meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Meals:  Dinner on the first day to lunch on the last day
Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 

Nittany Lion Team Camp, July 25-27 
Grades 7-12 (Teams and individuals welcome)

Penn State's Team Camp covers all aspects of the game, including position development and game strategies. Evenings consist of game competitions. This camp offers an outstanding way to prepare your team for a successful fall season.

Fees:
$550 per person resident (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$485 per person day camper (includes instruction, all meals, camp shirt, no housing)

Meals: Dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day
Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.

Team Registration
Note: Teams must bring a minimum of 12 or up to 18 players. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, register each team online.

The coach/team representative must register online, along with a refundable deposit. Upon completion of the camp, the deposit will be refunded.

Teams registering for team camp: Use the Coach/Team Rep link to register. Once registered, each team will receive registration links to distribute to each of their players to register.

Individuals registering for team camp as an individual: Use the INDIVIDUALS NOT w/team link to register. You will be assigned a team during camp.

Physical Conditioning 

To benefit as much as possible from this camp, participants should arrive in top physical condition. Particular attention should be paid to the feet. To avoid blisters, do not bring new shoes to camp. Jogging and sprinting are encouraged before the camp starts.

 

Equipment

Campers should bring their own hockey sticks. Shin guards are mandatory. Mouth guards are mandatory. Cross trainers or turf shoes are recommended. Grass cleats are not recommended. Goalies must bring their own equipment (goalie pads). Rain gear is recommended, depending on the weather. Personal equipment will NOT be shared. Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
