The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Field Hockey ID Clinic, September 27

Grades 8-12
 
Penn State's Field Hockey ID Clinic is intended to provide high quality instruction and competitive training. The ID clinic will focus on innovative stick work and shooting, defensive strategies, skill development, and small-sided competitive game play. Participants will receive instruction from the Penn State coaching staff and players.
 
Goalie Instruction

Specialized goalkeeping instruction will be provided during the clinic.

Fee: $160 (includes field hockey instruction, camp shirt, no housing)  

***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Meal:  Not provided.  Bring snack(s) to energize yourself during the clinic and a water bottle to refill during the clinic.  Water will be provided.

When:  

September 27 – 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Field Hockey Complex
 
Where: Field Hockey Complex

The Field Hockey Complex is located behind Pegula Ice Arena off University Drive. In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning any changes or cancellation.

Equipment

Campers should bring:

  • Field hockey stick
  • Shin guards (required)
  • Mouth guard (required)
  • Cross trainers or turf shoes (recommended)
  • Rain gear (weather dependent)
  • Refillable water bottle

Goalkeepers must bring their own full goalie equipment.

Grass cleats are not recommended.
