2025 / JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 17 games for Penn State, started in all of them… Had seven points off a goal and five assists… Took 28 shots.
Virginia (8/29/25): Scored first goal of the season in the first game of the season. Delaware (9/5/25): Took three shots, two on goal against the Blue Hens. Kent State (9/14/25): Scored a goal in 5-2 home win, had one assist as well. Lafayette (9/21/25): Scored third goal of the season with five shots, three on goal. Michigan State (9/26/25): Got an assist during 2-0 home win. Michigan (10/3/25): Picked up another assist against the Wolverines. Iowa (10/17/25): Took three shots on goal. Indiana (10/19/25): Scored fourth goal of the season. Lock Haven (10/24/25): Had a career-best game scoring two goals and getting two assists in a 8-0 road win. Rutgers (10/31/25): Scored one goal.
2024 / SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in all 17 games for Penn State, starting 14 times… Had two points off a goal… Took 18 shots.
Indiana (9/22/24): Scored first goal of the season in 3-2 home win. Lafayette (9/29/24): Scored another goal in the next game during a 5-1 home game. Michigan State (10/20/24): Took two shots on goal against the Spartans. Maryland (11/1/24): Had two shots, 1 on goal.
2023 / TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in all 17 games for Penn State as a true freshman, starting once...Had three points off a goal and an assist...Took six shots.
Virginia (8/25/23): Scored first collegiate goal in first collegiate game at Virginia, had two shots on goal as well. Stanford (9/3/23): Had a shot in 5-1 road win. Kent State (9/8/23): Picked up first career assist in 5-0 home win, took two shots, one on goal. Northwestern (10/20/23): Had a shot on goal against the Wildcats.
PERSONAL: Maryland native Natalie Freeman came to Happy Valley from Ellicott City and Marriotts Ridge High School. Freeman is a midfielder/forward who earned All-State laurels during her playing career. She lettered twice at Garrison Forest High School as a freshman and sophomore and then twice more at Marriotts Ridge, where she matriculated. Freeman earned All-County, All-State, All-Metro, All-Met, and All-Region honors during her two years at MRHS and helped guide the team to the state semifinals twice, earning Region I Championships both years. She was team captain as a senior. Freeman lettered in lacrosse her senior year as well. Freeman played for the WC Eagles club team, earning multiple USAFH U19, U16, and U14 medals and titles. She was a member of the 2022 USWNT Indoor Development Team in 2022 and a three-time Junior National Indoor Team pick. She was also a three-time AAU Junior Olympics selection. Freeman earned Student of the Month honors twice during her two years at MRHS and is considering a communications major at Penn State. Freeman is the daughter of Pam and Greg Freeman. She has one brother, Garrett.
