AS A SENIOR IN 2010: Served as a captain during her final year with Penn State ... Started all 20 games as a back ... Tied for fourth on the team with five goals while ranking fifth with 10 points ... Kicked off the year with a goal in the season opener against No. 16 Old Dominion ... Scored in three straight contests in early October ... Started the run after scoring off a corner in the second half during a 5-3 victory over Iowa on October 2 ... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Had a breakout year to lead the team in goals (10) while finishing second to only All-American Allison Scola with 23 points ... AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Appeared in 12 games, all off the bench, the second-most games played of all freshman on the roster ... HIGH SCHOOL: Played field hockey and soccer for four years at Manheim Central High School ... Played field hockey for coach Michelle Haydt ... Recorded 20 goals and 29 assists during her four-year field hockey career, including 10 goals and 10 assists her senior season, in which she helped lead her team to a sectional championship and a 14-3-2 record and was the leading scorer in her section ... Was a three-time Team MVP... Named First Team All-State in 2006 and was an Honorable Mention All-State pick in 2005 ... Named All-League as a senior ... Has two older brothers, David (27), who is a graduate of Penn State and was a member of the Blue Band and club squash team, and Graham (23), who is a member of the Penn State football team ... Father and grandfather are also Penn State graduates ... Majoring in kinesiology.
ON CHOOSING PENN STATE: 'I grew up in a Penn State family and spent a few football weekends in Happy Valley during my middle school and high school years. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the school spirit. Meeting the team on my field hockey visits sealed the deal. PSU is everything that I wanted my college experience to be. Plus, it has a really good creamery!'
