Lion Career
2007: Named second team NFHCA All-Mideast Region....Was on the NCAA All-Tournament team....Named to the Academic All-Big Ten team for the third straight year and to the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the second time in her career....Played all but 10:22 in goal for Penn State on the year as well as the last two years....Was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career on 10-1 after recording a shutout vs. Northwestern (9-30)....Recorded nine individual shutouts and now has 17 shutouts in her career, which is sixth on the all-time career shutouts list at Penn State....Led the Big Ten in saves (99), was second in goals against average (1.26), and also led the Big Ten in shutouts per game (0.38), shutouts (9), and save percentage (.762)....Ranked 13th in the country in goals against average and 26th in the nation in save percentage....Co-led the Big Ten with three shutouts in Big Ten games and was also second in both goals against (1.00) and save percentage (.786) in conference games only....Had a career long streak of 286:25 straight minutes without allowing a goal spanning the end of the Princeton game (9-5) through the beginning of the North Carolina game (9-16) and three games in-between....Recorded shutouts vs. James Madison (9-7) and Temple (9-12) and also did not allow a goal vs. West Chester (9-14) before being relieved for the final 10 minutes of the game....Made a season-high eight saves in the win over Princeton (9-5) and then equalled that with eight saves at Michigan (9-23)....Recorded her third shutout of the year vs. Northwestern (9-30)....Also had a consecutive scoreless minutes streak of 179:54 later in the year....Recorded two straight shutouts against Indiana (10-7) and Lafayette (10-10) in that string....Ended the regular season with her sixth shutout of the year vs. Ohio State (10-26)....Followed that up with her second straight shutout against the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Tournament (11-1)....Made a season-high nine saves to record her eighth shutout in the 1-0 win over Maryland (11-11)....Followed that up with a shutout against Wake Forest (11-16) in the national semifinal, her career-high ninth of the year.
2006: Named a second team NFHCA All-American....Also named first team All-Mideast Region by the NFHCA....Played every minute of the season in goal for the Nittany Lions after seeing just under 50 minutes of action as a redshirt freshman in 2005....Led all Big Ten goalies in shutouts (8) and goals against average (1.12) and allowed the second-fewest goals (25) of any Big Ten keeper as well....Also ranked fourth in the Big Ten in save percentage at .755....Allowed a league-low seven goals in Big Ten games and also recorded a league-high two Big Ten shutouts.....Ranked fifth in the country in goals against average and 25th in save percentage....Allowed three or more goals in a game only three times....Had two long strings of scoreless playing time this year....Did not allow a goal for 177:07 of playing time from the first half of the Northeastern game (9-2) through the second half of the Princeton game (9-6)....Went 260:47 without allowing a goal from the last goal scored by Princeton until the only goal of the game scored by Michigan State (9-23)....The string of 260:47 without allowing a goal included a streak of three straight shutouts vs. Lafayette (9-15), West Chester (9-17) and Penn (9-20)....Was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on 9-25 for her efforts in putting together that scoreless streak....Recorded two shutouts in Big Ten play vs. Michigan (9-29) and Iowa (10-27)....Made a season and career-high 16 saves vs. Ohio State (10-8)....High for saves after that was six in the win over Michigan (9-29) and then five vs. both Old Dominion (8-26) and the shutout vs. Lock Haven (8-31)....Recorded a shutout against a ranked UConn team (9-3)....Recorded her eighth shutout of the year in the Big Ten Tournament vs. Northwestern (11-3), making four saves in the win....Allowed just one goal in an overtime win vs. Michigan State in the Big Ten semifinal....Made six saves and allowed just one goal in an outstanding effort vs. Maryland in the NCAA second round (11-12)....Named Academic All-Big Ten.
2005: Saw action against Syracuse (9-28) and helped preserve the shutout....Recorded first career save vs. Bucknell (10-18).

A high school team MVP and captain in 2003....Selected as Suburban I first team all-league (2001-03)....All-Doylestown Intelligencer first team (2002-03)....Honored with United States Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award senior year....All-Southeastern Pennsylvania first team in 2003....Central Bucks all area team in 2003....All-Intelligencer second team in 2002....All-Southeastern Pennsylvania second team junior year...silver medalist at Keystone State Games in 2002....Scholastic Play-By-Play Network first team all-area in 2004....Won a gold medal at Indoor Nationals with X-Calibur club team in 2004....Had an astounding 408 career saves and 16 shutouts in high school....Also played soccer up until her junior year....Named second team all-league in soccer....Also received Coaches Award junior year.

The daughter of Gary and Liene Beaumont....Has one brother, Jon (24), who played soccer at Kutztown for two years....Full name is Jennifer Kristin Beaumont....Born on February 12, 1986.
