AS A JUNIOR IN 2017: Three shots in 4-2 win at Virginia (8/27)...Two shots in wins at Princeton on 9/10 and Bucknell (9/12)...Three point burst in 7-1 Big Ten win at Indiana (10/22), scoring goal and grabbing assist...Scored goal in 5-1 Big Ten Tournament win over Iowa (10/29), including two shots on goal...Played in all five of Penn State’s post-season games, notching over 30 minutes in each contest...Took the field in all 22 games last year...Ended season with five points off two goals and an assist off 14 shots.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016: Put up one shot in the 3-0 win against No. 5 Virginia (8/28)…Posted one shot in the 4-1 win against Lock Haven (9/11)...Scored a season-high two goals in the 7-0 win against Ball State (9/17).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015: Saw action in 15 games, starting the Oct. 11 match-up against Lock Haven...Scored her first career goal against Bucknell on the road in a 3-1 win over the Bison...Played a career-high 57 minutes in a 2-1 loss vs. Ohio State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Senior captain and four-year letterwinner at Selinsgrove...Started every game of her high school career, scoring 62 goals and totaling 31 assists...Led the team in scoring as a sophomore and junior...Named first-team all-state as a junior and senior and second-team all-state as a sophomore...Recognized as first team all-league, all-district and all-region all four years of high school...Member of a team that went 20-3-1 as a senior and won four district titles...Played club field hockey for PA Power...Participated in Futures and won nationals in 2014...Was a Junior Olympic gold medalist in 2011...Helped her team to a Festival championship in 2013...Also lettered in track at Selinsgrove.
PERSONAL: Parents are Vickie and Douglas Klingler...Has an older brother, Braden, and an older sister, Asthin...Sister, Ashtin, was a member of the Penn State field hockey team and lettered from 2011-13...Brother, Braden, played football and threw javelin at Susquehanna University.
