LION CAREER:
2011-12: Ochocki is serving as Team Captain for the second consecutive year. He started out his senior year with a phenomenal first place finish as the Penn State Garret Open. The Garret was the first major competition for the Nittany Lions this season.
2010-11: In his first year serving as Team Captain, Ochocki earned All-American honors for the third consecutive year. Ochocki tied for third at the NCAA Championships. He ended the regular season with a record of 18-14.
2009-10: In his second year of collegiate action with the Nittany Lions Ochocki went 26-11. The defending National Champion tied for third at Nationals walking away with an All-American title.
2008-09: Ochocki made a splash in year one of his collegiate career by becoming the NCAA saber national champion as a true freshman. Ochocki won 19 bouts at nationals to claim the crown. He went 29-8 during the regular season and then place third at Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Ochocki was a four-year letterman at Johnson High School in Clark, N.J., where he was a four-time All-State pick and a three-time New Jersey State Champion. Ochocki was a four-time member of the U.S. Junior National Team, 5-time National Champion and 3-time Junior Olympic Champion. An outstanding athlete, Ochocki lettered in football and lacrosse where he was a three year starter in both at Johnson High School. Senior year he was the lacrosse captain of the #4 ranked in the state Crusaders and was named All-Conference.
