LION CAREER:
2010-11: Perkins went 25-22 in his final season with the Nittany Lions.He was 2-0 against UNC,Columbia, Johns Hopkins and MIT.
2009-10: Perkins had a tremendous season competing going 27-3. He served as an alternate for the team at the Mid- Atlantic/ South Regionals.
2008-09: Perkins went 25-14 last season and finished eighth at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals.
2007-08: Perkins finished his freshman season with a 34-10 overall record in the foil division. His second place finish at regionals earned himself a spot to compete in the NCAA Championships. Perkins had dual match records of 12-2, 13-5, 7-2, and 2-1.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Perkins fenced at the Sonoma Fencing Academy in Petaluma, Calif., for head coach Michael Pacheco. While at Sonoma, he was a two-time Bay Cup Champion, a two-time Pacific Coast Champion and won the California Regional title. He was a finalist multiple times at NAC events, including a third place finish at the 2007 NACs in Columbus in the men[apos]s Division I foil. Perkins won the national title at the 2005 Summer Nationals as a member of the U-19 Men[apos]s Foil Team and has been a member of the U.S. Junior World Cup squad since 2004.
