Season: Started all 47 of Penn State’s games at first base…Dominated inside the batter’s box, notching career-best tallies in batting average (.319), runs scored (29), hits (44), doubles (15), triples (two), home runs (10), RBI (36), slugging percentage (.674), walks drawn (20) and on base percentage (.411)…Finished with an OPS of 1.085, the best individual mark on the roster…Led the team in eight major statistical categories (runs, doubles, triples, homers, RBI, total bases, slugging and walks drawn)…Finished the season with a team-best 265 putouts in addition to a .989 fielding percentage…Her 15 doubles ranked as the fourth most in a single season at Penn State all-time…Finished tied for ninth in a season all-time at PSU with 10 home runs.
Rankings: Ranked second in the Big Ten Conference and 24th nationally with 0.32 doubles per game…Also ranked second in the B1G and sat inside the top-50 in America with 15 doubles…Tallied the seventh-highest slugging percentage in the Big Ten with a .674 mark…Her 0.21 homers per game ranked 12th in the Big Ten, while her 10 dingers overall finished as the 17th-most in the league.
vs. Memphis (2/19): Was 2-for-3 with a double and home run…Drove in a season high-tying four RBI in PSU’s fifth-straight win. vs. Kent State (2/24): Saw continued success in the box, going 2-for-4 with a quartet of RBI…Hits came by way of a double and home run. vs. UMBC (3/16): Finished the afternoon with a 1-for-3 line offensively, logging a two-RBI double…Finished with a season-high 12 putouts against the Retrievers. vs. Cornell (3/16): Was a perfect 3-for-3 with an additional walk drawn in the game…Booked her fourth straight game with a double. vs. Iowa (3/24): Opened the B1G slate by going 1-for-4 with a triple, eventually scoring a run in the contest. vs. Iowa (3/26): Went 3-for-6 in the Sunday doubleheader, with all three hits scored as doubles. vs. Bucknell (4/18): Dominated offensively, going 1-for-1 with a three-run homer, a walk drawn and her only stolen base of the 2023 season. at Maryland (4/21): Carried Penn State to a series-opening win over the Terrapins, recording the 16th multi-home run game in program history…Drove in three RBI in Penn State’s 3-2 win. at Maryland (4/23): Went 2-for-2 with an RBI in the series-clinching victory in College Park. vs. Illinois (4/29): Went 2-for-4 in PSU’s senior day doubleheader, blasting a two-run homer in the second game of the day. Big Ten Tournament vs. Indiana (5/11): Finished her offensive career with a bang, blasting a two-run homer to pull ahead of IU in the top of the eighth inning.
2022 • JUNIOR SEASON
Awards: Easton/NFCA Scholar All-American Scholar Athlete...Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Season: Started every game…Boasted her power with a .500 slugging percentage and nine homers…Walked 14 times...Seven multi-hit games
vs. Eastern Kentucky (2/12): First career triple…Scored a run. Buffalo (2/19): Had two hits... scored a run and recorded an RBI. vs. Kennesaw State (2/26): Had one hit and three RBI in game one...had two hits and three RBI in game 2. UNCG (3/6): Recorded a run and three RBI. vs. UMass Lowell (3/19): A perfect 3-for-3 outing including a solo homer. vs. Cornell (3/20): Had one hit and three RBI. vs. Indiana (4/17): A productive game with an RBI fly in the 2nd inning and a two-run homer in the 4th inning.
2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Named NFCA Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete.
Season: Started 24 games and made 27 total appearances at first base...Had seven hits and one RBI...Scored three runs...Had one multi-hit game...Registered two double-digit putout games on defense.
vs. Purdue (2/27): Made Penn State debut as starter at first base in both games of doubleheader. vs. Northwestern (2/28): Went 2-for-2 at the plate with a single and a double...Recorded lone multi-hit game of season...Scored one run in each game of doubleheader...Drew a walk. at Nebraska (3/28): Had a RBI-sacrifice bunt in first inning to help Nittany Lions to first win of season. Ohio State (4/3): Registered season-high 11 putouts at first base. at Indiana (5/7): Recorded 10 putouts at first base in game two of doubleheader. No. 23 Minnesota (5/16): Had a double to contribute to Nittany Lions’ first win over ranked opponent since 2017.

2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON (AT OTERO JUNIOR COLLEGE)
Awards: Earned Academic All-American honors.
Season: Helped team to 12-5 record in shortened season due to COVID-19 pandemic...Hit .595 with a 1.357 slugging average and eight home runs...Team was named Academic Team of the Year.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of softball at Millward West High School...Helped Wildcats to four-straight district titles and four consecutive state appearances...Led Wildcats to third place state finishes in both 2015 and 2018...Earned Nebraska All-State honors as a senior in 2018.

Daughter of Mike and Rita Black...Has one older sister, Logan...Sister, Logan, played softball at Creighton (2018-19) and then for Penn State for final two seasons (2020-21)...Intends to major in veterinary and biomedical sciences.
